Kidzsmart - the We Are Family Network Agency in Canada - helped bring together a best-in-class partnership between Boston Pizza International and Nintendo Canada

Bringing nostalgic fun for the whole family, guests at Boston Pizza International in Canada got the chance to immerse themselves in the Mushroom Kingdom through next-level activities and gameplay. Featuring four classic games: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Party Superstars, and Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe and using Early Childhood Education (ECE) and STEAM education methods, Kidzsmart successfully blended learning through play; with kids being provided with an activity pack featuring the iconic characters available on the Nintendo SwitchTM system and given the chance to enter a competition to win a Nintendo Switch.

The impact of the design, which focused on accessibility for all cognitive levels while also addressing neurodiverse accessibility, meant that Kidzsmart was able to seamlessly blend educational concepts (such as teaching basics of algebra via brand affinity) into the timeless fun associated with the Super Mario brand. Resulting in nostalgic fun for parents, it also introduced a swathe of new fans for the next generation of gamers.
