We are Family UK is excited to have won two new communications and marketing projects, which are both set to run this Summer. The Reading Agency, a returning We are Family client, is once again launching its annual Summer Reading Challenge with a new theme of ‘Marvellous Makers’. The project sees that charity work alongside children’s authors, celebrity ambassadors and local libraries across the country, to inspire children to read for fun during the Summer holidays and offer a fun and inclusive way for children of all abilities to gain a sense of confidence, achievement and hopefully spark a lifelong love of reading. 

The second project is with brand new client Magic Light Pictures, the production company and brand builder behind the iconic and beloved characters of Julia Donaldson; author of children’s books including The Gruffalo, Superworm, Stick Man and Snail and the Whale (to name but a few!). The company is launching Gruffalo and Friends x GB – its new partnership with Team GB - to inspire not just a next generation of athletes, but children of all physical abilities, to look after their mind and body, try their best and have fun.   

Heading into a bumper summer of sport, the partnership sees the launch of a children’s sporting apparel and accessories range, an activity pack for parents and caregivers to complete with their family, a sports day pack for UK schools, new sport-themed activity trails with existing partner Forestry England and an ambassador and influencer campaign.
