GideoMan has made listening to nursery rhymes a little more bearable for parents by giving them a modern-day Amapiano twist. 


The aspiring South African musician gave us the task of promoting the upcoming Amapiano Nursery Rhymes album 

At a Glance

We commissioned an Amapiano choreographer to create a child and family-friendly dance routine to accompany the music.  

We then worked with 5 content creators across African communities to get them to take part in the dance challenge and seed the content.

The Details

Platoon wanted a solution to promote the Amapiano Nursery Rhymes music album among South African diaspora in the UK and US. Their aim was to not only promote the new album but also Amapiano as an African subgenre.

We commissioned an Amapiano choreographer to create a child and family-friendly dance routine to accompany the music.  

We then worked with 5 content creators across African communities to get them to take part in the dance challenge and seed the content.

Our hashtag #amapianonurseryrhymes has so far reached over 2M views, which is amazing for such a niche musical subgenre and community.
